20. RtII/SLD for Writing & Mathematics

A review of contemporary empirical evidence and best practices for the identification of specific learning disabilities in writing and mathematics using Response to Instruction and Intervention procedures will be offered. Screening data, progress monitoring tools, and decision-making rules will be discussed so that districts can establish sound practices and procedures within their existing RTII framework.
