24. Core Instruction and Common Assessments for Secondary Reading

This session is focused on the unique challenges and opportunities of implementing MTSS in secondary schools to meet the literacy needs of academically diverse students. Session content includes Disciplinary Literacy, building a continuum of instructional explicitness, using assessment to inform instruction, the benefits of teacher observation, and data from case study examples to engage both content area and elective teachers in your process of implementing MTSS. Hands-on activities will allow you to apply learning to your unique context!
