OSEP Preschool IDEA Physical Education Letter of Clarification

In this letter, the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) addresses whether a school district can refuse to provide a preschool-aged child with a disability physical education (PE), as part of the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), because children without disabilities in preschool in the school district are not offered PE.
