This event is by invitation only. You must have a registration key in order to register.

This event will provide an overview of how to select, install, and utilize data from systematic screenings within comprehensive, integrated, three-tiered models to meet students´ academic, behavior, and social needs. Dr. Lane will also address advanced topics including: the use of specific screening tools, interpreting multiple sources of data to identify needs and interventions, and developing an action plan at the system´s level.

  • Install systematic screening tools with procedural integrity
  • Interpret screening data in conjunction with treatment integrity data to examine overall levels of student performance in a school
  • Interpret screening data to inform the use of teacher-delivered, low-intensity supports (e.g., increasing opportunities to respond)
  • Use screening data in conjunction with other data collected as part of regular school practices to connect students with Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports
  • Use multiple sources of data to develop an action plan at the system’s level
Targeted Audience

  • Paraeducators

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
